Here it is mid July and I haven't done anything with this blog. I really love the idea of blogging but I just can't seem to find the time to update, tell stories and share what is happening in my life. I suppose what my husband says is true, "If it were important to you, you would do it." So I guess he's right. I find it interesting to read other people's blogs, even random blogs of people I don't even know. I guess what I really enjoy is reading about everyone's interesting lives and feeling like mine is not all that interesting. I mean, come on, why would any of you care what I did last week, or where I went today? Who really cares about all the stuff my kids are doing? Besides people it's summer and we should all be outside tending gardens, or in my case trying to keep from killing my vegetables. We should be swimming at the local pool, or your own backyard if you are so fortunate to have your own pool. There are so many great outdoor activities, and some fun indoor ones as well. This summer I am swimming at our local pool with my kids, I'm not one of the fortunate, yet, and I have decided to take another cake decorating course. I have also been reading a lot about photography and I'm ready to get out and do some shooting. We will be taking a trip to Colorado next week for a family gathering and I'm sure with all the cousins around there will be lots of photo opportunities.
I guess I will keep trying to come up with ideas to blog about and hopefully someone will find my musings of some interest. So for now enjoy the beautiful summer weather, get outdoors, and spend time with the people you love.
